Sydney New Year's Eve Fireworks Live Streaming Harbour Bridge, Rocks, Darling Harbour, Opera House

Sydney New Year's Eve is an annual multi-tiered event held every New Year's Eve over Sydney Harbour, centering on the Harbour Bridge. Its main features are the two pyrotechnic displays, the 9pm Family Fireworks and the Midnight Fireworks. Each year the event takes on a new theme and is regularly viewed by more than one million people at the harbour and one billion worldwide for the televised Midnight Fireworks.

Inspiration to use the Sydney Harbour Bridge as a launchpad for fireworks came from the use of fireworks on the Brooklyn Bridge as part of it's 100th Anniversary celebrations in 1983. Syd Howard, pyrotechnian used his inspiration and the chances given to him to put fireworks displays on Sydney Harbour to use the Sydney Harbour Bridge as a launchpad for fireworks.

His first opportunity was in 1986 for the 75th Anniversary Review of the Royal Australian Navy. Here he introduced the 'waterfall' effect as well as a pyrotechnic message on the Sydney Harbour Birdge. The message read 'NSW salutes Royal Australian navy' and employed thousands of cigarette-style fireworks to create the lettering. It hung over the side of the pedestrian walkway.

For NYE2011, the creative direction was handed over to Marc Newson and Imagination Australia. They have already announced a new 'After Midnight' initiative to promote businesses that are open after Midnight on New Year's Eve. The theme for the 2011 fireworks to welcome the New Year 2012 is Time to Dream. These live webcam views are all around the Sydney area for New Year's Eve

Boston New Year's Eve 2012 Fireworks Live Stream First Night Celebrations

Boston is one of over 60 US cities nationwide to celebrate First Night, a non-alcohol family-friendly New Year's Celebration, generally featuring performing artists, community events, parades, and fireworks displays to celebrate the New Year. First Night in Boston is the country’s oldest and largest New Year’s Eve celebration of local arts. Now in 2011 it is in its 35th year, the day-long, family-friendly event provides an alcohol-free outlet for all ages, complete with music, dance, ice sculptures, fireworks, and more to welcome the start of the New Year of 2012.

First Night 2012 will feature hundreds of artists in exhibitions and performances throughout more than 35 locations throughout Boston, including the Arlington Street Church, Museum of Science, Copley Square, the Improv Asylum, and many more. A 12-minute fireworks display will light up the Boston sky at midnight. For best viewing, make your way to Boston Harbor, or to the Boston Common ball field for a front-row seat.

With the amount of outdoor festivities and fireworks happening in and around the city, the best nightclubs host their own Boston New Years celebrations. LA New Year's Eve 2012 Fireworks Live Stream Hollywood NYE Party

Los Angeles, with all its diversity has a New Year's Eve celebration for every taste and every budget. Club crawls have become all the rage in Hollywood, with a single ticket getting you past the velvet rope at multiple clubs. This New Year's Eve the concept is taking over Hollywood with a VIP Club Crawl that get's you VIP access to between 5 and 8 New Year's Eve club parties.
