The showpiece moment of the the biggest sporting event on the plant is finally here, and after a month of some of the most fantastic footballing events the final is here.
Whatever happens we will have a new winner as Spain and Holland, neither of who have won the Jules Rimet Trophy previously, will contest the final. As an additional incentive, the Golden Boot is also up for grabs, with David Villa or Wesley Sneijder the moist likely recipients.

Soccer City Webcam - Ready for the World Cup Final
The opening ceremony of the 2010 World Cup seems like a lifetime ago, but it was only a single month, since which we have witnessed a veritable feast of football, with colourful scenes, memorable goals and one of the best attended and friendly, trouble-free World Cup tournaments in memory. Plus of course the unmistakable sound of the vuvuzela!
Attention now turns to the showpiece final, and whatever happens there will be a new name on the winners' roll as both Spain and Holland look to win the Jules Rimet Trophy for the very first time in their history.
One of the most popular webcams featured by My World Webcams throughout June and July has been the view of the Johannesburg, and the night of the final should prove no exception:
