The last time the Green Bay Packers brought the Super Bowl title home was in 1997, and due to the amount of people who turned out for that celebration, and the amount of security and crowd control problems the city had, the Packers are instead opting for letting fans see them and the Lombardi Trophy at Lambeau Field.
The city of Green Bay had originally tried to have a victory parade through downtown, but the Packers say this celebration at Lambeau Field can allow them to control the crowd better. On February 7th 2011 the Green Bay Packers will return from Dallas, Texas to Austin Straubel International Airport on Monday before 12PM and will take team buses back to the stadium. Fans are invited to line the route between the airport and Lambeau Field to cheer for the team.
On Tuesday February 8th 2011 the team will be hosting their official victory celebration at Lambeau Field between 4PM and 5PM with gates opening at 2PM. Entrance fee's will be $5 per person attending.

The game will be held at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, the first time that the Super Bowl will be held in the Dallas–Fort Worth area; and the third time it will be held in Texas (Houston was the host city to Super Bowls VIII and XXXVIII). Kickoff time is approximately 5:25pm CST (UTC-06). This will be the eighth appearance in the Super Bowl for the Steelers (who hold the record with six Super Bowl wins) and the fifth for the Packers (who hold the record with 12 overall NFL titles, including three Super Bowl wins and nine league titles prior to the Super Bowl-era).
As of January 28, The Packers are two to three point favorites, making this the first Super Bowl in which the Steelers were underdogs since Super Bowl XXX. In all four previous Super Bowls that Green Bay played in, they were favored to win.
The Steelers and Packers did not play each other this season. The last time the two teams met was December 20, 2009, when the Steelers defeated the Packers 37–36 at Heinz Field. That game was marked by four lead changes in the fourth quarter and a game-winning touchdown pass from Ben Roethlisberger to Mike Wallace as time expired.
