US Open Golf 2011 Live Stream, Congressional Country Club Bethesda

The 2011 United States Open Championship, the 111th U.S. Open, will begin on June 16 and end on June 19. 2011 will be the third time the U.S. Open will have been played at Congressional Country Club.

Event Information:

About half the field each year consisted of players who are fully exempt from qualifying for the U.S. Open. Two tweaks were made to the qualification categories for 2011. The number of players automatically exempted from the previous U.S. Open was reduced from the top 15 scorers plus ties to the top 10 plus ties. A new category was added, exempting the top 50 players on the Official World Golf Rankings list as of June 13, the last ranking issued before play starts (this is in addition to the top 50 on the same list as of May 22). 2011 will be the final year that the money lists on the various tours will be used for exemption categories, as well as the multiple PGA Tour winner category (categories 9 and 11 to 16). In the future, the top 60 players in the Official World Golf Rankings, as of both three weeks prior to the tournament and immediately before play starts, will receive invitations.

The Congressional Country Club is a prestigious country club and golf course located in Bethesda, Maryland. Congressional opened in 1924 and has hosted two U.S. Opens and a PGA Championship, and is an annual stop on the PGA Tour, with the AT&T National, hosted by Tiger Woods. The tournament was first played in 2007, and is held in early July. Congressional hosted the Kemper Open from 1980-86, until its move to nearby TPC at Avenel in 1987. While Avenel was under renovation in 2005, Congressional hosted the tournament, then known as the Booz Allen Classic. Congressional will host its third U.S. Open in June 2011. Congressional has two 18-hole golf courses: the flagship Blue Course and the Gold Course. The Blue Course was designed by Devereux Emmet and has been renovated over the years by numerous architects, most recently by Rees Jones. The course was included in the Links series, and in 2011 is to be available for the Virtual Championship at World Golf Tour. Both courses are known for their rolling terrain, tree-lined fairways, and wide challenging greens. Water hazards also come into play on both courses.

Las Vegas Live for Justin Timberlake Golf Open 2010

The Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open is a golf tournament in the Fall Series of the PGA Tour. It is played annually in October in Las Vegas, Nevada. The tournament is held at the TPC at Summerlin and from 2008 will be hosted by recording star Justin Timberlake.

This live feed will be covering the event live:

The event has been known by other titles, which are shown in the Winners section below. In 2009, the purse will be $4,200,000, with a $756,000 first prize. In 2002, under a previous sponsor, the purse was $5,000,000 ($900,000 to champion), and has never been as high since. The tournament was founded in 1983. Until 2003, this tournament was played over five rounds over several other courses. Tiger Woods recorded his first PGA Tour win here in 1996.

The tournament announced that the Shriners Hospitals for Children would take over the operations of the tournament, and that the Las Vegas Founders, a volunteer group, would no longer be involved with the event. Fry's Electronics, chief presenting sponsor in 2006 and 2007, also ended their association with this event, choosing to concentrate on a second tournament in Arizona that it was already sponsoring. On November 12, 2007, the PGA Tour announced that Timberlake would become host of the tournament, and also announced the event's new name. Timberlake, an avid golfer who plays to a 6 handicap, will play in the celebrity pro-am and host a benefit concert during the week of the tournament.

This event became the first PGA Tour event in history to offer a total prize purse of more than $1 million. A tradition at the tournament is presenting the trophy to the champion while two showgirls are a part of the pomp and circumstance.

Gleneagles webcam

Location information:

Gleneagles is a glen which connects with Glen Devon to form a pass through the Ochil Hills of Perth and Kinross in Scotland. The name's origin has nothing to do with eagles, and is a corruption of eaglais or ecclesia, meaning church, and refers to the chapel and well of Saint Mungo, which was restored as a memorial to the Haldane family which owns the Gleneagles estate. Gleneagles House at the northern entrance to Gleneagles comprises a 1750 extension to an earlier 17th-century building that is approached by an avenue of lime trees planted to commemorate the Battle of Camperdown. Little remains of Gleneagles Castle, the early 16th-century tower house of the Haldanes.

The Caledonian Railway Company used its name for the Gleneagles Hotel and golf course they built some distance from the glen at the edge of Auchterarder. The hotel hosted the controversial G8 conference in July 2005, which earned the area the description of "the most fortified golf course in Scotland" due to extensive security.
