Live Webcam View from Chelmsford on V Festival Weekend

V Festival is a two-day music festival that is held simultaneously in Chelmsford and Staffordshire. Although predominantly rock music, the festival books a wide range of acts and is probably the most likely amongst UK festivals to book more mainstream pop acts each year. Festival goers can take their pick from the V stage, Channel 4 stage and JJB arena throughout the day.

Location information:

Chelmsford is the county town of Essex, England, and the principal settlement of the borough of Chelmsford. It is located in the London commuter belt.

Suburbs within Chelmsford have retained their historical names including: Moulsham, Widford and Springfield, plus the newer Chelmer Village.

The V Festival is an annual music festival held in Chelsmford during the penultimate weekend in August. Organised by Metropolis Music and SJM Concerts, the event is held at two parks simultaneously which share the same bill; artists perform at one location on Saturday and then swap on Sunday. The sites are located at Hylands Park in Chelmsford and Weston Park in South Staffordshire. Although predominantly a rock music festival, a wide range of musical genres are accepted; in recent years pop acts have become ever more common. This year at V Festival their will be an increase of police from 5,000 to 10,000 due to the risk from "PERPS".

Canadian National Exhibition (CNE), aka The Ex, is an annual event held at Exhibition Place in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The CNE grew out of an annual late summer fair at a time when Toronto was the centre of a farming community.

Having celebrated its 125th anniversary in the summer of 2003 (even though hampered by the 2003 blackout), "The Ex" - as it is also popularly known offers a wide variety of entertainment and events, midway rides, a working farm, parades, sports, international food and shopping, Kids' World and a three-day air show, Canadian International Air Show. The CNE is a provincially incorporated Agricultural Society and also fulfills a key program of Exhibition Place, a local board of management of the City of Toronto. The fair traditionally operates during the last 18 days of summer leading up to and including Labour Day Monday (the first Monday in September).

In the 1990s the annual fair suffered from deficits, but since 1999 it appears to have rebounded in popularity and has returned to financial stability. A 2003 Economic Impact Study conducted by Festivals and Events Ontario and the Ontario Tourism Marketing Partnership (OTMP) revealed that the CNE attracted more than $48 million to the City of Toronto and more than $66 million to the province of Ontario.

Stoupa Webcam Live On Kalogria Beach in The Peloponnese Islands

Stoupa is a village on the coast of the southern Peloponnese peninsula in Greece. It is part of the municipality of Lefktro, in the prefecture of Messinia and the historic region of Mani Peninsula.

Once a sleepy little town, in the past few years more and more tourists have discovered Stoupa. There are around 20 restaurants lining the main road behind the beach, a few small hotels, and many rental houses. Besides Greek tourists, who come mostly in August, Britons and Germans are the most frequent visitors. There are a few Dutch holidaysmakers, but because there is only one flight into Kalamata, the local airport, once a week from Holland, their numbers are limited.

Stoupa is located in an area of Greece called Mani. Just down the road (approximately 4 km) from Stoupa is the village of Agios Nikolaos (also known as Selinitsa), a working fishing village which also has a number of restaurants and guest houses but which currently attracts fewer tourists than Stoupa. Above Agios Nikolaos is the lovely small village called Riglia. Other places in the Mani region include Itilo (32 km), Limeni (36 km) and Aeropoli (40 km).

There are many beaches and coves around the area including Stoupa Beach, which is the most popular and has a good beginners snorkeling site at the end of the beach. Over the hill is Kalogria Beach, with its turquoise waters and rich marine life, as well as plenty of facilities such as volleyball, and a handful of bars.

Besides the Velsen Municipality Hall (Raadhuis van de gemeente Velsen), designed by the famous architect Willem Dudok, important sights in IJmuiden are the North Sea locks. The latter are among the largest in the world and one set is able to close off a shipping lane 50 metres (164 ft) wide and 12 meters (39 ft) deep. There are plans to enlarge or build a new set to facilitate passage for even larger vessels.

DFDS Seaways serve a route between Amsterdam and Newcastle via IJmuiden. A new roll-on/roll-off ferry route between IJmuiden and Great Yarmouth in the United Kingdom was due to being in 2009.[1], though as of January 2010, Great Yarmouth ferry terminal is still under construction.

The summer festival in Budapest awaits visitors with a festive market and musical programs along both banks of the River Danube. There are also other events such as the Danube Shore Amusements, the Craft and Folk Fair held in Buda Castle and the Wine Village organized in City Park. The Czech Open is a golf tournament on the European Tour which is held annually in the Czech Republic.

The tournament first appeared on the European Tour schedule between 1994 to 1997 as the Chemapol Trophy Czech Open, and was the first European Tour event staged east of the former Iron Curtain after the fall of the Berlin Wall. The first three of those events were held at the Golf Club Mariánské Lázně in Mariánské Lázně, before moving to the Prague Karlstein Golf Club, overlooked by Karlštejn Castle, just outside Prague. Germany's former World Number 1 Bernhard Langer was much the most distinguished of the four champions.

The Amanda Award is an award given annually at the Norwegian International Film Festival in Haugesund, Norway, to promote and improve Norwegian film. The award originated in 1985, and has since 2005 been exclusively a film award (not television). Winners are awarded a trophy by the Norwegian sculptor Kristian Kvakland, and the name and theme of the sculpture comes from a legendary local woman from the 1920s. The award ceremony is marked every year by a major, nationally televised, event.

Haugesund has a coastline with the North Sea, however, the island of Karmøy and the archipelago Røvær shelter most of the city from the rough waters of the ocean. The sound of Karmsund, located between Karmøy and Haugesund used to be very strategically important, since ships could pass without having to sail through heavy sea. Haugesund's city centre has a distinctive street layout, similar to those found in Kristiansand and Oslo. Haugesund has a typical maritime climate with mild winters, cool but pleasant springs, and mild summers lasting until the end of September. Monthly 24-hr average range from 1.1 °C in February to 14 °C in August. Mean annual precipitation is 1520 mm, with September - December as the wettest period.

Ground Zero Webcam - Live Construction Progress of the New World Trade Center

The controversial development of the mosque close to Ground Zero has been making the news lately, but to the construction workers at the site, their main concern is getting the new twin towers built and delivered on time.

he nave is open and circular, surmounted by a dome. The dome contains sixteen circular stained glass windows. The fifteen spaces between these windows signify the fifteen decades of the traditional rosary.

The nave is surrounded by fifteen smaller side chapels, one for each of the traditional Mysteries of the Rosary. On the left of the nave are found the Joyful Mysteries; in the centre behind the sanctuary are the Sorrowful Mysteries, and to the right are the Glorious Mysteries.
Each side-chapel comprises a large mosaic with a central image depicting the theme of that Mystery, and an inscription in Latin. Incorporated within the larger image may be smaller images of related themes. For example, the side chapel directly behind the altar contains a depiction of the Crowning with Thorns, which is surmounted by an image of the Ark of the Covenant (see figure).

Most of the mosaics bear a date of around 1900. In each side-chapel is a small altar bearing six candles.

Belsonic is the name of an outdoor music festival which has taken place in August at the Custom House Square in Belfast, Northern Ireland since 2008. It is organised by Shine Productions Ltd, and the capacity of the event is 5,000.

Location Information:

Belfast City Hall is the civic building of the Belfast City Council. Located in Donegall Square, Belfast, Northern Ireland, it faces north and effectively divides the commercial and business areas of the city centre.

The gardens surrounding the City Hall are a popular with office workers taking their lunch in the summer months, as well as tourists and teenagers gathering in their dozens to enjoy the green.

Various statues stand in the grounds, including one of Queen Victoria by Sir Thomas Brock. There is also a granite column dedicated to the American Expeditionary Force, many of whom were based in Belfast prior to D-Day.

Orlov mentions that at the funeral of the late Vice President in New York City, the visiting Russian President will be killed by Russian spy Evelyn Salt. Salt, shaken at the accusation, attempts to contact her husband Mike, a German arachnologist, fearing for his safety. Meanwhile, Orlov escapes, prompting Salt to escape — causing the CIA to think she is a spy. She flees to her apartment and finds her husband missing. Salt resumes and grabs essentials as well as a venomous spider. After barely escaping a highway pursuit, Salt takes a bus to New York City. The next morning, she sneaks into the heavily guarded St. Bartholomew's Church where the Vice President's funeral is being held and shoots the Russian President. She then encounters Peabody where she surrenders but escapes the NYPD.

But things don't go to plan, as Wally gets so drunk at Kassie's "insemination party" that he accidentally spills Roland's semen and replaces it with his own.
