Sevilla FĂștbol Club S.A.D. is a Spanish professional football club based in Seville, Spain that plays in the Spanish La Liga championship. They are one of the most successful clubs in Spanish football having won a 1 La Liga title, 5 Spanish "Copa del Rey" Cups, 1 Spanish Super Cup and 2 UEFA Cups. On 15 October 1905, the Civil Governor of Seville officially announced the creation of Sevilla FC. The first president of the club was D. JosĂ© Luis Gallegos. In 1908, the team played its first official game, and the first official game in Spain, against Recreativo Huelva. In 1914, the team won its first Copa de Sevilla (Seville Cup). Liverpool v Norwich Live Stream, 22 Oct 2011 Anfield Tickets, Streaming

Norwich City visit Anfield for a tough encounter with a Liverpool side high on confidence having matches Manchester United in their last home game. Norwich have started well and will see any points gained here as a bonus.

Norwich City's nickname, "The Canaries", has long influenced the team's colours and crest. Originally, the club was nicknamed the Citizens ("Cits" for short), and played in light blue and white halved shirts, although the halves were inconsistent; "the blue was sometimes on the left hand side of the shirt and sometimes on the right." The earliest known recorded link between the club and canaries, comes in an interview recorded in the Eastern Daily Press with newly appointed manager, John Bowman in April 1905. The paper quotes him saying "Well I knew of the City's existence... I have... heard of the canaries." "This as far as we can tell is the first time that the popular pastime of the day ie... rearing... canaries was linked with Norwich City FC... the club still played in blue and white, and would continue to do so for another two seasons." But the city of Norwich had long connections with canaries owing to its 15th and 16th century links to Flemish weavers who had imported the birds to the Low Countries from the Dutch colonies in the Caribbean.

By February 1907, the nickname Canaries had come more into vogue; thoughts that an FA Cup tie against West Bromwich Albion (nicknamed "Throstles" after a bird) was "a bird -singing contest" were dismissed by the polymath C.B. Fry as "humbug" but Bowman and Fry's colleagues in the national press increasingly referred to the team as Canaries. The following season, to match the nickname, City played for the first time in Canary livery; "yellow shirts with green collars and cuffs. One paper produced the quote 'The Cits are dead but the Canaries are very much alive'." Apart from the obvious colour link, a canary may seem an odd choice; however, many English football clubs have adopted small birds as emblems that symbolise agility and deftness around the field

Wigan Athletic Football Club is an English Premier League Association football club based in Wigan, Greater Manchester, having been promoted from the Championship in 2005. Wigan's current spell in the Premier League is the only top flight run in the club's history. They have played at the DW Stadium since 1999, sharing the stadium with rugby league club Wigan Warriors. They previously played at Springfield Park for 67 years. As of the 2011–12 season, Wigan Athletic are the youngest club in the Premier League, having only been formed in 1932.

Wigan Athletic was formed in 1932, following the winding up of Wigan Borough the previous year. Wigan Athletic was the fifth attempt to create a stable football club in the town following the demise of Wigan County, Wigan United, Wigan Town and Wigan Borough. Springfield Park, the former home of Wigan Borough, was purchased by the club for £2,850. Despite their initial application being turned down, Wigan were elected into the Cheshire County League following the resignation of Manchester Central. The club had also made the first of many attempts to be admitted into the Football League, but failed to receive a single vote. On 27 August 1932, Wigan played their first ever league game against Port Vale Reserves. The team played in red and white shirts with black shorts.

The Royal Malta Yacht Club (RMYC) is a yacht club in the island of Malta. The date of the first establishment of the Royal Malta Yacht Club has not been ascertained, although there are rumours as to the existence of an obscure yacht club in Malta as far back as 1835. It is, however, on record that the Admiralty issued a warrant authorising the use of the Blue Ensign in 1873, (re-issued in 1894). By 1892 that club had reached its nadir and virtually ceased to exist.

Around 1896, a small group of gentlemen resident in Mata and owning as a syndicate a 30-ton cutter called the "RHODA", formed an association which was commonly known as the Rhoda Sailing Club At first, their interests were primarily in cruising, but later on, races were staged for sailing dinghies and small local craft, which attracted other enthusiasts who were not members of the original syndicate. From these and others, a club known as the Mediterranean Skiff Club was formed in 1905 and the 14-Foot West of England Conference Dinghy adopted as its racing class. The Mediterranean Skiff Club remained in existence until 1916 when it was wound up owing to the majority of its members being on active service.

Event Information:

A few rumors were already circulating the day after the last Venice marathon, but only now we are able to confirm it officially: the route of the next Venice marathon will go through St.Mark's Square. A.S.D. Venice marathon Club recently received approval from the City Council to go across the magnificent square that is the very heart of the lagoon town.

The Technical Direction of the marathon is already at work to study the alterations to the route that will be necessary to make the spectacular passage inside the square possible, a passage that will only occur in 2010, for the Special Edition of the 25th Anniversary.

About 1 km after the exit from St.Mark's Square the runners will reach the Venice marathon finish line, located - as always - in "Riva Sette Martiri".
